So, Windows Update just downloaded a couple of Hotfixes. I wasn’t surprised to see it come in, because I received an email from the CERT Advisory yesterday saying that another hole had been found. So I installed them, rebooted and all was well.
THEN, after I logged in, the flickering started. There were white flickering lines running across part of the screen. Plus the display was shaking a bit. What in the world? I went into Standby, brought ‘im back out, and still the same. Reboot. Log in. Flickering and SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY. Like, to the point that it was making my eyes hurt to try to concentrate on anything on the screen. Thankfully BanjoBen helped me find where the updates are stored in Add/Remove, so I took ‘em out and it’s all fine now. Weird.
