On Monday morning we visited a neurosurgeon at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto who examined Winston’s back. The doctor found no spinal or nerve damage and said surgery was not required. This was certainly good news. The doctors have given him five radiation treatments to secure his back. This Thursday, the 19th, he was able to walk for the first time since being admitted to the hospital a week ago. Tests have revealed that he has a reoccurance of Non-Hodgkins lymphoma which he last had in 1991. Doctors in both Barrie and Toronto hospitals are very hopeful that with treatments he will make a full recovery. Your continued prayers are both needed and appreciated.
Thank you all so very much for all your kindness.
