So when we signed the contract with the auction company, we apparently signed that we were buying the house – and 50 acres somewhere out in the sticks. The auction company didn’t catch it. Our buyer’s agent didn’t catch it. We didn’t catch it. It wasn’t until the title company was processing the paperwork that they were like, “Uhh…what’s this?” The seller didn’t even know what it was. We just had to sign a document to amend our original contract. So we now no longer own 50 acres of someone else’s property. Bummer.
