So the girls have decided to run a half marathon in KC in October. Only problem: it’s on Saturday. I’m really bummed that I won’t be able to run it with them. I am going to train with them, though, and plan to run 13 miles at some point just so I can say I’ve done it (again).
Looks like this time we’re going to try the Advanced Training program, so we’ll be doing some hill work. Oh boy. And if we follow the 12-week schedule, we’ve got to start training next week. Ouch. I have a feeling the August heat is going to be a challenge.
And since we’ll be trained in October, maybe then we can transition into marathon training for Dallas White Rock in December?
